June 21st marks the first day of summer. The sun is out, the weather is nice, and with school over, everyone is searching for something fun to do.

Looking to cool off, why not take a splash in the Geisler Pool or the Higgins Pool? Pools open on June 25th and is open to the public.

Want to express your inner creativity? El Taller Café & Bookstore hosts an Open Mic Night every third Thursday from 7:30 pm – 10 pm. Sing, read poetry, play an instrument – the stage is yours so you decide. If you like to write, The Common Sage, a writing club offers you the opportunity to express your thoughts and share stories with other members of the community. The Club meets at El Taller every Wednesday from 7 pm – 8 pm.
